This is one of the most versatile baits I have ever developed. It fishes just as effectively shallow as deep, fast or slow. It is irresistible to many species, but pike are always in dangerous territory when MrClive is in the water.
Cast it, jerk it, or retrieve it slowly. Thanks to the three loops in the head, you can fish it exactly how you want. The bait is naturally slow-floating, but can easily be modified to sinking with larger hooks or extra weight.
The only time this bait isn't effective – is when you can't cast it through the ice.
Upper loop– provides an aggressive, hard-vibrating action that triggers strikes.
Middle loop– creates a seductively rocking motion that entices lethargic fish.
Front loop– provides a shallow, winding action – perfect for trolling over shallower water. Mange himself fishes it with 40g lead two meters in front.
